NAPA's November issue of Action News included the following article entitled "Agencies Issue Minor Changes in COVID Policies."
The Centers for Disease Control recently changed the definition of "close contact" with a confirmed-positive COVID individual as someone who spends a total of 15 minutes or more within six feet of an infected individual, over a 24-hour period. The previous definition did not identify the 24-hour period. OSHA's newest guidance on preventing heat illness while wearing face coverings now allows “workers to remove cloth face coverings when they can safely maintain at least 6 feet of physical distance from others." The agency’s updated statement reinforces NAPA’s position.
