The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has released a report that evaluates the laboratory performance of plant-produced lab-compacted mixtures utilizing various warm mix asphalt (WMA) technologies. This report also compares WMA energy consumption cost and emission data to conventional hot mix asphalt (HMA) mixtures in terms of fuel/energy savings at the plant and in terms of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide emissions.
