The Lane Construction Corporation (formerly Rea Contracting) has operated in South Carolina for over 25 years. The company services Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Hampton, Beaufort, Jasper, Orangeburg, Clarendon, Richland, Lexington, Calhoun, Colleton, Aiken, Sumter and Fairfield Counties. They have asphalt plants located in Ridgeland, West Columbia, Ulmer and Orangeburg, SC and focus on grading, drainage structures, asphalt paving (highway/commercial) and highway/heavy construction.

In 2015, Lane completed the Columbiana Drive Resurfacing Project for the City of Columbia. The project was unique and challenging due to the coordination required with the City of Columbia, local merchants, night time operations, and the traveling public. For their work, Lane was awarded a 2015 Project Delivery Award by the SC Asphalt Pavement Association.
Additionally, Lane recently received two National Asphalt Pavement Association Quality in Asphalt Paving Awards for their work on I-77 and Lancaster Airport.
