SCAPA Member King Asphalt, Inc. Makes an Investment in the Future at the Annual 7th Grade Career Fair

The Greenville County 7th Grade Career Fair afforded King Asphalt, Inc. the incredible opportunity to share insight, educate and raise awareness of the asphalt industry. Over 6,000 seventh graders from all over Greenville County were enthusiastic and interested in the various facets of the asphalt industry and asked several questions.
King Asphalt shared Asphalt Works! materials with students, teachers and school counselors. Asphalt Works! is a long-term, unified effort to drive the future success of the asphalt paving industry. The campaign's success is correcting a negative industry perception while enhancing the paving industry and King Asphalt's positive community reputation. There are fulfilling, rewarding and engaging careers in the asphalt industry, and representatives from King Asphalt worked to make sure students were aware of successful career paths in the industry before choosing their next steps.
