Thank you to all our SCAPA Members who were able to make it out to the SCAPA Spring Member Dinner and Legislative Day!
Our members had a great time networking with colleagues over cocktails and enjoyed a fine Italian dinner at the Palmetto Club. On April 3, 2019, SCAPA hosted its seventh annual SCAPA Legislative Day. SCAPA members had the opportunity to meet with Governor Henry McMaster, SC representatives Jason Elliott and Brian White and leaders from SC Department of Employment & Workforce to discuss workforce development initiatives. In the morning, Representative Jason Elliott shared and discussed the Municipal Tax Option Bill, and in the afternoon, we heard from Representative Brian White to further discuss Workforce Development and the SC WINS Bill or SC Workforce Industry Needs Scholarship. Overall the day was a success, both educational and productive!
