The latest tool in the PaveXpress application suite is Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA). Encouraged and endorsed by AASHTO and FHWA, LCCA is an economic analysis tool to compare various pavement strategies following deterministic and probabilistic approaches. Using the methodology put forth in FHWA’s RealCost™, participants in this webinar will learn how the tool can be used with new construction, reconstruction and major rehabilitation projects. Additionally, participants will learn about the major influences on LCCA outcomes, the need for factual data to develop approaches, and the other considerations for selecting a final pavement type.
