The Women of Asphalt Council is a newly founded national coalition which supports women in all aspects of the asphalt industry through mentoring, education, and advocacy and by encouraging women to seek careers in the asphalt industry.
Our goals are:
- To foster and promote mentoring and networking opportunities for women in asphalt
- To create professional development opportunities for women in asphalt through education and training
- To advocate for women in the asphalt industry
- To encourage other women to join the asphalt industry
In conjunction with the 2018 World of Asphalt Conference in Houston, Texas, we are hosting a networking reception at the Asphalt Pavement Alliance/Asphalt Institute's Exhibit Booth on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
On March 7, we will host a Women of Asphalt Forum from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The Forum will feature a panel discussion of successful women leaders in the asphalt industry and conclude with a keynote presentation by Dr. Audrey Copeland, Vice President for Engineering, Research and Technology at the National Asphalt Pavement Association.
The target audience are individuals who support women in the asphalt industry. The cost to attend is free, but we need your support! Your sponsorship will assist us in underwriting the costs of hosting these great events!
Sponsors of the Women of Asphalt Council Networking Reception and Forum will receive name and logo placement in all event marketing materials, as well as verbal recognition during the events.
Levels of Sponsorship:
- Champion of Women of Asphalt Council
- $2500 - Logo and name included in all digital and printed marketing material; Opportunity to personally address group at forum; Reserved seating at event.
- Patron of Women of Asphalt Council
- $1000 - Logo and name included in all printed material; Reserved seating at event; Verbal acknowledgment at event.
- Advocate of Women of Asphalt Council
- $500 - logo and name in all printed material
- Friend of Women of Asphalt Council
- $100 - logo and name in printed material at on-site events
