Laboratory Evaluation of a Plant-Produced High Polymer-Content Asphalt Mixtures

Research looked at various aspects of High Polymer (HP) mixes. HP mixes were found to have higher fatigue life and rut resistance. Additionally, the dynamic moduli appeared to be similar for reheated lab samples, but cores and field-compacted cores of the HP mixtures had lower stiffness than the control specimens.
