SCAPA Executive Director Presents at National Asphalt Pavement Association Annual Meeting

On January 31, 2017, SCAPA Executive Director Ashley Batson presented to attendees at the 2017 National Asphalt Pavement Association Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
Ms. Batson presented during a breakout session on workforce development. The title of her presentation was Hiring, Recruiting, and Retaining a Strong Workforce. During the presentation, Ms. Batson discussed some of the workforce challenges facing the asphalt paving industry in South Carolina and also educated attendees about potential resources available to assist in combating these challenges.
Ms. Batson gave a similar presentation to the Missouri Asphalt Pavement Association at their winter meeting in January and to the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association last summer.
