The 2017 SCAPA Legislative Day will take place on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. SCAPA has planned an asphalt plant tour for the South Carolina Senate Transportation and House Education and Public Works Committees at Sloan Construction’s asphalt plant located on Rosewood Drive in Columbia, SC.
SCAPA members will meet at the Statehouse on Wednesday, April 26 at 7:30 AM. From there, we will depart on a bus to Sloan’s asphalt plant on Rosewood Drive. We will enjoy breakfast and coffee with the House and Senate members and then proceed on a tour of Sloan’s plant. After the tour, we will return to the Statehouse and begin meetings with other legislators. We will conclude our SCAPA Legislative Day with lunch at the Palmetto Club and a guest speaker.
