TRB Webinar: Thin Asphalt Concrete Overlays

Next Monday, June 20th, the Transportation Research Board is conducting a webinar on Thin Asphalt Concrete Overlays.
Two representatives from the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT), Michael Heitzman and Don Watson, will present alongside Arizona DOT's Julie Kliewer.
At the end of the presentation, participants should be able to:
- Understand the current state of practice on thin asphalt concrete overlays related to maintenance, rehabilitation and preservation.
- Understand state Departments of Transportation responses to survey questions on thin concrete overlays and case studies of successful practices.
- Understand how to select the right mixture type for the roadway conditions
- Understand the different definitions of thin asphalt concrete
