SCDOT & SCAPA Partner in Development of "Full Depth Patching Best Practices"

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

SCAPA staff and personnel from SCDOT's Office of Materials and Research are currently developing a best practices guide on Full Depth Patching. The guide will not only cover best construction practices, but will also provide recommendations for pre-construction activities that will help engineers make cost-effective decisions. Additionally, identification of asphalt distresses, structural investigation of pavements, and other project considerations are covered as well. Each SCDOT District Office has provided great feedback in SCAPA & SCDOT’s Partners In Quality (PIQ) meetings to incorporate. SCAPA’s technical director, Jayson Jordan, will present this topic in an afternoon session of SCAPA’s Winter Conference along with SCDOT’s Asphalt Materials Manager, Cliff Selkinghaus. Do not miss it!
