2021 SCAPA Virtual Winter Conference & Trade Show Recap

 

The SCAPA Winter Conference and Trade Show went virtual for 2021. The two-day event was held on January 19 and 20 with the participation of over 400 registered attendees. Tuesday’s session included many of the usual topics including the SCAPA, FHWA, and SCDOT Updates, and a unique video presentation of SCAPA’s Annual Quality Pavement Awards (see video links below). Wednesday’s session started with a highly interactive presentation on implicit bias with Keynote Speaker Dr. Carl Wells from the University of South Carolina and ended with another informative update from the National Asphalt Pavement Association’s President, Audrey Copeland. Each day included a breakout session with three tracks including topics geared to the asphalt professional, including best practices, specification updates, case studies and more.
