SCAPA producer member APAC-Atlantic, Inc., a CRH Company, has engaged in paving and construction in the Lowcountry of South Carolina for over 40 years. In 2003, APAC invested in a hot mix asphalt plant located in the Industrial Park of Hardeeville. As the Lowcountry’s only vertically integrated SCAPA Producer member, APAC is excited about the opportunities 2021 may hold. In early 2020, APAC completed a complete rebuild of its HMA facility in Hardeeville which included a new double drum plant with three storage silos and a state of the art design/testing laboratory facility. “We are very fortunate to work for a company like CRH that believes and trusts in its various operating companies,” stated Robert Royal, APAC’s General Manager and Vice President. CRH is the largest asphalt paving company in North America and the No. 1 asphalt producer. “Considering SCDOT’s investment in the State’s Infrastructure and CRH’s local investment, we believe we are poised to meet our various owners' needs regarding HMA and construction in and around the Lowcountry,” Royal stated. “We are proud to be a part of such an active and longstanding association like SCAPA. SCAPA’s involvement and engagement with its members and our industry stakeholders, including SCDOT, is awesome, and we look forward to many more years being a part of SCAPA.”

Thank you APAC Atlantic for your continued support!
