The 2025 CPHR Saskatchewan Conference will take place on October 8 - 9, 2025, at TCU Place in Saskatoon, SK, presented by Federated Co-operatives Limited. The 2025 theme — "Future Forward: Reimagining HR in a Changing World" — emphasizes the evolving landscape of HR, where AI, leadership, diversity, and mental health intersect with data-driven decision-making, employment law, and recruitment strategies. It signals a forward-thinking approach that prepares HR professionals to adapt, lead, and create workplaces that thrive in rapidly shifting environment. Early bird deadline is August 31, 2025. CPHR Saskatchewan and its counterparts across Canada have partnered with McLean & Company, an HR research and advisory company, to develop and carry out a member survey about upcoming HR trends. Members who complete the survey will receive McLean’s full 2026 HR Trends Report and a research package. The survey is open until September 19, 2025, and will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete. CPHR Saskatchewan is proud to support the Edwards JDC West – Team Sasky – as a Team Sponsor. As part of our sponsorship commitment, Edwards JDC West requires coaches with knowledge and expertise in the field of HR. This is a weekly commitment for their 2025-2026 season. Teams will be supported by approximately four to five coaches for flexibility. Coaches meet weekly with their teams at mutually convenient times. Responsibilities for coaches include providing presentation feedback, asking strategic questions, and supporting the group in areas such as problem analysis, communication, and industry insight. Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan, and Team Sasky are located in Saskatoon, SK. Associate members wishing to pursue the CPHR designation and write the NKE must be NKE Ready. Being NKE Ready means associate members have met the coursework requirement and received approval from CPHR Saskatchewan prior to registering for the NKE. For those requesting transcripts, if the name on your transcripts or reports is different than your current name, please update the "maiden name" in your member profile. NKE Prep Courses NKE Waiver There is a minimum requirement of 10 CPD hours annually and, during any three-year rolling period, a minimum of 60 CPD hours, including a three-hour ethics course. Ethics Course: CPHR Canada has partnered with illuxi to offer a three-hour ethics course called Navigating Change: Ethical Responsibilities in the Digital Age. After reviewing all the information, if you have questions, please email info@cphrsk.ca. The Validation of Experience (VOE) requirements and application align with the revised competency framework. We strongly encourage all CPHR candidates to review the information below before completing the application: Applicants must successfully demonstrate a minimum of eight (8) examples where HR work is at the advisory HR level and aligned to the HR competencies. There is a maximum of twelve (12) examples that can be provided.
