 Association NewsCPHR Saskatchewan is excited to invite volunteers to take part as interviewees in our 20th Anniversary video project! We’re looking for a “rising star” from our membership — someone who is a CPHR, CPHR Candidate, or Associate member on the path to designation with at least four years of HR experience — as well as a “student” representative who is currently a CPHR student member. Average hourly wages in Canada have seen a significant increase over the past years, according to a report from Statistics Canada (StatCan). The average hourly wage for employees in Canada rose to $35.20 in 2024, marking a five-per-cent increase from pre-pandemic levels in 2019 and an 18.4-per-cent rise since 2006, when comparable data first became available. CPHR DesignationThe next NKE will take place on Nov. 6, 2025. Registration deadline is Sept 12, 2025. Click here for more information. Associate members wishing to pursue the CPHR designation and write the NKE must be NKE Ready. Being NKE Ready means associate members have met the coursework requirement and received approval from CPHR Saskatchewan prior to registering for the NKE. For those requesting transcripts, if the name on your transcripts or reports is different than your current name, please update the "maiden name" in your member profile. NKE Prep Courses NKE Waiver There is a minimum requirement of 10 CPD hours annually and, during any three-year rolling period, a minimum of 60 CPD hours, including a three-hour ethics course. Ethics Course: CPHR Canada has partnered with illuxi to offer a three-hour ethics course called Navigating Change: Ethical Responsibilities in the Digital Age. After reviewing all the information, if you have questions, please email info@cphrsk.ca. The Validation of Experience (VOE) requirements and application align with the revised competency framework. We strongly encourage all CPHR candidates to review the information below before completing the application: Applicants must successfully demonstrate a minimum of eight (8) examples where HR work is at the advisory HR level and aligned to the HR competencies. There is a maximum of twelve (12) examples that can be provided.
