On behalf of the CPHR Saskatchewan Board and Staff, congratulations to all the nominees for the 2024 HR Professional Awards. The Awards Committee was presented with many excellent nominations of individuals and teams that showcase outstanding human resource achievements and who inspire exceptional people practices.
Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation is the deposit guarantor and primary regulator for Saskatchewan provincially regulated credit unions and SaskCentral (together, Provincially Regulated Financial Institutions or PRFIs). The selection committee is now seeking candidates for the Corporation’s board of directors. The board is responsible for the governance of the Corporation and is responsible for providing oversight, strategic direction, planning and vision, and developing and implementing corporate policy.
The Regina & District Chamber of Commerce is currently inviting Expressions of Interest for volunteers to join their 2025 Board of Directors. The closing date for receipt of Expressions of Interest is Oct. 4, 2024. Individuals planning to submit an Expression of Interest should note that they or their employers must be current members of the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce. Click here to complete the application.

CPHR Designation

The next NKE will take place in November 2025. Stay tuned for more information.

As of Jan.1, 2022, associate members wishing to pursue the CPHR designation and write the NKE must be NKE Ready. Being NKE Ready means associate members have met the coursework requirement and received approval from CPHR Saskatchewan prior to registering for the NKE.

For those requesting transcripts, if the name on your transcripts or reports is different than your current name, please update the "maiden name" in your member profile.

NKE Prep Courses
NKE prep courses are available to writers with the theoretical knowledge and test-taking strategies needed to effectively write the NKE. These are not mandatory.

NKE Waiver
Graduates of CPHR-accredited post-secondary programs may be eligible to apply for an NKE Waiver. Click here to see a list of CPHR Saskatchewan and CPHR Member Associations' Accredited Post-Secondary Institutions. CPHR Saskatchewan's educational requirement must be met. 

There is a minimum requirement of 10 CPD hours annually and, during any three-year rolling period, a minimum of 60 CPD hours, including a three-hour ethics course.

Ethics Course: There will be a new ethics course rolled out in fall 2024. Information will be shared soon. If you have not taken the ethics course or have taken it and need to do so again by Dec. 31, 2024, please wait for the new course.
