 Association NewsOn behalf of the CPHR Saskatchewan Board and Staff, congratulations to all the nominees for the 2024 HR Professional Awards. The Awards Committee was presented with many excellent nominations of individuals and teams that showcase outstanding human resource achievements and who inspire exceptional people practices.
Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation is the deposit guarantor and primary regulator for Saskatchewan provincially regulated credit unions and SaskCentral (together, Provincially Regulated Financial Institutions or PRFIs). The selection committee is now seeking candidates for the Corporation’s board of directors. The board is responsible for the governance of the Corporation and is responsible for providing oversight, strategic direction, planning and vision, and developing and implementing corporate policy.
The 18th Annual CPHR Saskatchewan Conference will take place Oct. 2-3, 2024, at Conexus Arts Centre in Regina, SK, presented by Federated Co-operatives Limited. Register here. Deadline to register is September 19, 2024.

CPHR DesignationThe next NKE will take place Nov. 14, 2024. Deadline to register if Sept 13, 2024. Learn more here. As of Jan.1, 2022, associate members wishing to pursue the CPHR designation and write the NKE must be NKE Ready. Being NKE Ready means associate members have met the coursework requirement and received approval from CPHR Saskatchewan prior to registering for the NKE. For those requesting transcripts, if the name on your transcripts or reports is different than your current name, please update the "maiden name" in your member profile. NKE Prep Courses NKE Waiver There is a minimum requirement of 10 CPD hours annually and, during any three-year rolling period, a minimum of 60 CPD hours, including a three-hour ethics course. Ethics Course: There will be a new ethics course rolled out in fall 2024. Information will be shared soon. If you have not taken the ethics course or have taken it and need to do so again by Dec. 31, 2024, please wait for the new course. Popular Links
