On behalf of the CPHR Saskatchewan Board and Staff, we wish you a safe and enjoyable long weekend. The office will be closed on Family Day, and will re-open Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024.
We are looking for HR practitioners with international experience who are passionate about sharing their unique experiences on the theme "Global Perspectives in HR: CPHR Members from Different Countries" for the upcoming Spring 2024 HR Saskatchewan magazine. Share your insights in a short interview on the differences and similarities between HR practices in Canada and your home country, or the country you have worked in for a long time. By participating, you'll provide valuable insights into the global dynamics of HR and contribute to a richer understanding of our profession. Mount Saint Vincent University is conducting a study of HR professionals in Canada that they believe will be of interest to and possibly of some use to our organization’s professional members called "Human resource professionals in Canada: Examining workplace affordances and engagement and links among gender, age, rank, and race."

CPHR Designation
The next NKE will take place Nov. 14, 2024. Learn more here. As of Jan.1, 2022, associate members wishing to pursue the CPHR designation and write the NKE must be NKE Ready. Being NKE Ready means associate members have met the coursework requirement and received approval from CPHR Saskatchewan prior to registering for the NKE. For those requesting transcripts, if the name on your transcripts or reports is different than your current name, please update the "maiden name" in your member profile. NKE Prep Courses There is a minimum requirement of 10 CPD hours annually and, during any three-year rolling period, a minimum of 60 CPD hours, including a three-hour ethics course. Ethics Course: There will be a new ethics course rolled out in May 2024. Information will be shared in the months to come. If you have not taken the ethics course or have taken it and need to do so again by Dec. 31, 2024, please wait for the new course. Audit: 3% of CPD submissions will be randomly audited for 2023. Those professional members (CPHRs) who are randomly selected will be notified in March 2024. Popular Links
