CPHR Saskatchewan is excited to welcome Amanpreet Kaur into the role of Member Relations Coordinator. Amanpreet has a Bachelor of Accounting and Masters in Business Administration with a specilization in Human Resources and Finance from India. She most recently worked as a Translator Coordinator with the Saskatoon Open Door Society. Amanpreet joined the team on Tuesday, August 2, 2022!
The Regina Public Library is looking for HR professionals to assist teens and adults with resume, cover letter, interview, and career-related questions online through Zoom. Existing CPHR volunteers have done a fantastic job in guiding job seekers who are looking for their first job, looking for a better job, or are changing careers. CPHR Designation
The 2022 Fall NKE will take place November 4, 2022. Click here to learn more. As of Jan. 1, 2022, Associate Members wishing to pursue the CPHR designation and write the NKE must be NKE Ready. Being NKE Ready means Associate Members have met the coursework requirement and received approval from CPHR Saskatchewan prior to registering for the NKE. There is a minimum requirement of 10 CPD hours annually and during any three-year rolling period, a minimum of 60 CPD hours, two categories, and a three-hour ethics course. Annual 2022 CPD (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2022) must be entered by Jan. 15, 2023 to avoid a $50 late fee. Popular Links
After reviewing all the information, if you have questions, please contact Holly Guran, Professional Standards Manager, at hguran@cphrsk.ca. The Validation of Experience (VOE) Assessment is the final formal step in earning the CPHR designation.
The next VOE intake and application submission deadline is Aug. 31, 2022. It is recommended to submit by Aug. 19 so your application can be reviewed in advance. This gives you time to provide any missing information prior to the deadline.
