Reminder to all CPHRs
Monthly emails are being sent to you regarding 2021 CPD hours. Emails are sent from Holly Guran with the subject line "2021 CPD and the Online Reporting System." Please refer to the email as it more comprehensive.
- Annual 2021 CPD (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2021) must be entered by Jan. 15, 2022 to avoid a $50 late fee.
- There is a minimum requirement of 10 CPD hours annually, and during a three-year rolling period, a minimum of 60 CPD hours, two categories, and a three-hour ethics course.
- Complete the declaration once you are done entering hours for the year. This can be found in the menu to the left of your name, or on the Dashboard under "Enter Hours."
- There is no final "submit" button to hit once you are done entering all your hours for the year.
- On the Dashboard, only your last four entries will show. To view all entries, click on "View Full History." If you are running reports for certain time periods, remember to adjust the start and end dates accordingly.
- For some, this is your third year of the three-year rolling calendar, you must meet the annual and three-year rolling period requirements for CPD from Jan. 1, 2019 to Dec., 31, 2021.
- For those that received the designation in 2020, this will be your first time entering, and for those that received the designation in 2021, you do not need to submit CPD until 2022.
- In the event you are audited, keep track of the documentation to verify the hours entered into the Online Reporting System.
- If you are not submitting your CPD hours, please send an email notifying Holly Guran, Professional Standards Manager, at hguran@cphrsk.ca as this will impact your CPHR professional designation.
