CPHR Saskatchewan is seeking member volunteers for the Professional Development Committee. The Professional Development Committee’s overarching purpose is to identify and evaluate topics and presenters for CPHR Saskatchewan’s learning and development events. This committee seeks to provide comprehensive and valuable professional development opportunities aligned to the CPHR Competency Framework and Knowledge Areas. Members are required to be members in good standing in the association and possess the CPHR designation. The committee meets two to four times per year with regular interaction via email and/or teleconferences. In-person meetings, if required, are held at a central location to accommodate members in the northern and southern parts of the province. If you are interested in actively participating on this committee, please provide a letter highlighting your (Centennial Auditorium & Convention Centre Corporation) The TCU Place Board of Directors directs the operations of TCU Place in a manner that ensures proper maintenance of the facility, provides premiere services for the performing arts and provides a full range of services for meetings and conventions. Consideration for service on this board includes expertise in the following areas:
The board meets monthly on the last Thursday at 12 p.m. There are no meetings in July, August or December. There is no remuneration paid to board members. Interested applicants are asked to submit an application and resumé with two letters of reference by no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, 2020, using the Committee Application Form found online at saskatoon.ca/boards. All applications will be kept on file and reviewed throughout the year should further vacancies occur. Note: Upon applying to this board, your application/resumé/reference letters may be shared with current board members as part of the review process. Please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 306-975-3240 if you have any questions regarding the application process. Applications to participate in the Mentorship Program as a mentor or protégé are available online from Sept. 14 until Oct. 30. The Mentorship Program runs annually from January to December. Visit the Learning Calendar to register for a new webinar series hosted by headversity, in partnership with CPHR Saskatchewan. Reduced rates to register for the series (four webinars) will be offered until Nov. 1, after which date webinar registrations can be purchased separately. Webinars will be recorded and made available to paid registrants following the event.

If you are not receiving them, please check your profile on our website to ensure we have the correct email address. If you have entered your hours and completed the declaration for 2020, please disregard this message. After reviewing all the information, if you have questions, please contact Holly Guran, Professional Standards Manager at hguran@cphrsk.ca. CPHR Saskatchewan is excited to announce new national requirements to the Validation of Experience (VOE) Assessment effective June 30, 2020. The next VOE intake deadline is Dec. 31, 2020. The complete application package must be submitted by that date. If the application is incomplete, it will be returned. It is recommended to submit by December 14th so your application can be reviewed in advance. This gives you time to provide any missing information prior to the deadline.

The month will help raise awareness on the importance of our workforce being inclusive, and ensuring individuals with disabilities are being given the same opportunities as all residents in the province. The month is a time to celebrate the many and varied contributions of workers with disabilities. |
