CPHR Saskatchewan is seeking member volunteers for the Professional Development Committee. The Professional Development Committee’s overarching purpose is to identify and evaluate topics and presenters for CPHR Saskatchewan’s learning and development events. This committee seeks to provide comprehensive and valuable professional development opportunities aligned to the CPHR Competency Framework and Knowledge Areas. Members are required to be members in good standing in the association and possess the CPHR designation. If you are interested in actively participating on this committee, please provide a letter highlighting your reason of interest and qualifications for serving on the committee to jlamontagne@cphrsk.ca by Friday, Oct. 23, 2020.

CPHR Designation

The end of 2020 is just around the corner — a reminder for all CPHRs:

  • Annual CPD for 2020 (January 1 to December 31, 2020) must be entered by January 15, 2021 to avoid a late fee of $50.
  • There is a minimum requirement of 10 CPD hours annually and a minimum of 60 CPD hours during a three-year rolling period. Keep in mind that 10 CPD hours per year is not going to get the required 60 CPD hours in the three-year rolling calendar. For some of you, this is your second year of the three-year rolling calendar and entering CPD hours online.
  • For those that received the designation in 2019, this will be your first time entering, and for those that received the designation in 2020, you do not need to submit CPD until 2021.
  • In the event you are audited, keep track of the documentation to verify the hours entered into the Online Reporting System.

Information regarding the CPD requirements, the online reporting system and the webinar recording can be found here.

Information regarding leave of absence can be found here.

After reviewing all the information, if you have questions, please contact Holly Guran, Professional Standards Manager at hguran@cphrsk.ca
