Association News
It is hard to believe that we are half way through 2020, school is out, summer is upon us and so much has changed in our lives and organizations in only four months. I would like to take a moment to highlight a few goings on at CPHR Saskatchewan:
With that, thank you for providing excellent leadership and continuing to be the People Leading Business when it is needed most! I wish you all continued good health and well-being and hope you enjoy a wonderful Saskatchewan summer. Best regards, Nicole Norton Scott, BBA, CPHR HR volunteer opportunities exist with the Regina Public Library via Zoom. The library is looking for HR professionals to assist teens and adults with resume, cover letter, interview and other career-related questions online through Zoom. Weekly one-on-one resume and job coaching sessions are taking place every Tuesday (3:30-5:10 p.m., including two appointments, each 45 minutes). Volunteer opportunities also exist with group sessions (webinars) that can accommodate presenter’s schedules. Existing CPHR volunteers have done a fantastic job in guiding job seekers who are looking for their first job, a better job or are changing careers. The contribution from volunteers has had tremendous positive impact on our community. Contact Tim at txie@reginalibrary.ca or call (306) 777-6013 for more information. CPHR Saskatchewan encourages its members to consider this volunteer opportunity and support the community with HR knowledge and expertise.

Claire Seeber "I see you trying to stay strong and keep it together whilst you balance the needs of those around you. I see you. Questioning how you are going to continue to navigate your business through this change. Keep people engaged. Motivated. Connected. Maintain the culture. Preserve the camaraderie. All whilst trying to work out what the 'new world' will look like yourself." |
