The deadline to submit annual CPD for Professional CPHR members was January 15, 2020 for January 1st to December 31st, 2019 qualifying activities. If you have not submitted the minimum 10 CPD hours, you will be granted an extension until January 30, 2020.  In 2021, there will be a $50.00 late fee if the minimum 10 CPD hours are not submitted by the January 15th deadline

In March 2019, new educational pathways were announced along with the requirement that 9 Foundational HR Courses will be required effective July 1, 2021, if a member does not have a degree with a major in Human Resources. The implementation date for the course requirement has changed to January 1, 2022.  This change allows a member without a degree majoring in Human Resources, four opportunities to write the National Knowledge Exam. The Validation of Experience (VOE) Assessment is the final step in the process to become a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).

There are four VOE intakes per year. The next submission deadline is March 31, 2020.
