Attention CPHRs - New Mandatory Ethics Course
We are excited to share that CPHR Canada has partnered with illuxi to offer a new three-hour ethics course called Navigating Change: Ethical Responsibilities in the Digital Age. Completing this free ethics course will provide you with the three-hour minimum ethics requirement for your designation.
The three-hour online course can be taken at any time from a computer. You can pause the training and pick up where you left off, so it does not need to be completed in one sitting. At the end, you will be provided with a certificate online in which you can print as proof of documentation for your CPD hours. Remember to enter your hours into the Online Reporting System using the ethics template.
All CPHRs must meet a mandatory 60-hour CPD requirement as part of their continued certification during each three-year rolling period. Within that 60 hours, three hours must relate to ethics specifically. The three-hour CPD requirement can be obtained through various providers that offer ethics training. Again, this is only a requirement over a three-year rolling period, not every year.
Over the next few days, you will receive an email from info@illuxi.com providing you with a link to access the training.
- The email will be sent to the email address on your CPHR profile.
- Click “Get Started” to create your password.
- You must accept the Terms and Conditions to access the platform.
- A confirmation email will be sent confirming your account is now active.
- Save the link to the training for future access.
- Information with a short video can be found on the website
- More information will be provided in our upcoming CPD info sessions, which will be communicated through our weekly newsletter and Learning Calendar.
For those CPHRs who obtained the designation in 2024 through the Validation of Experience (VOE) process, you do not start earning CPD until Jan. 1, 2025. An email will be sent to you the beginning of January 2025 for the ethics course.
Please email info@cphrsk.ca if you have any questions.
