Expression of Interest - Discipline Committee
Discipline Committee (DC):
The role of the DC is to conduct discipline hearings and make determinations relating to matters of professional misconduct and professional incompetence, and where guilt is determined, to exercise any of the powers granted in the bylaws and issue orders that specify the sanctions, including but not limited to reprimand, fine, suspension or revocation of designation imposed on the member. For more information on the role of this Regulatory Committee, please see the Terms of Reference.
Committee members must be Members in Good Standing with CPHR Saskatchewan and the CPHR designation is preferred.
Should you be interested in volunteering with this committee, please submit your expression of interest outlining your work experience and reason of interest to Lindy Pelletier, Discipline Committee Chair, at info@cphrsk.ca by Friday, June 7, 2024. Selection and orientation will occur over the summer of 2024.
Prior to the selection of committee members, those that have expressed interest will participate in a Regulatory Committee Boot Camp. In the context of professional regulation, a boot camp refers to awareness training conducted before consideration for appointment. That being said, once appointed, committee members would begin the orientation process with a basic understanding of the roles and expectations. The boot camp will also allow those who wish to withdraw their name from consideration to do so.
Boot camp will be conducted in summer 2024 and will be a mandatory requirement of the selection process.
