National Knowledge Exam (NKE)

As of Jan.1, 2022, associate members wishing to pursue the CPHR designation and write the NKE must be NKE Ready. Being NKE Ready means associate members have met the coursework requirement and received approval from CPHR Saskatchewan prior to registering for the NKE.

For those requesting transcripts, if the name on your transcripts or reports is different than your current name, please update the "maiden name" in your member profile.

NKE Prep Courses
NKE prep courses are available to writers with the theoretical knowledge and test-taking strategies needed to effectively write the NKE. These are not mandatory.

NKE Waiver
Graduates of CPHR-accredited post-secondary programs may be eligible to apply for an NKE Waiver. Click here to see a list of CPHR Saskatchewan and CPHR Member Associations' Accredited Post-Secondary Institutions. CPHR Saskatchewan's educational requirement must be met.

Updates
Upon review of the required electives for the programs mentioned below, BUS 355 Introduction to Industrial Relations will be accepted when applying for a NKE Waiver. Students can have either BUS 354 Occupational Health and Safety or BUS 355 Introduction to Industrial Relations. 

  • University of Regina, Paul J. Hill School of Business
    Bachelor of Business Administration, Human Resource Management

  • First Nations University of Canada, Indigenous Business and Public Administration with the University of Regina, Faculty of Business Administration
    Bachelor of Administration, Human Resource Management
