On behalf of the CPHR Saskatchewan Board and Staff, congratulations to all the nominees for the 2023 HR Professional Awards. The Awards Committee was presented with many excellent nominations of individuals and teams that showcase outstanding human resource achievements and who inspire exceptional people practices.

Winners will be announced at the HR Professional Awards Luncheon on Oct. 4, 2023 at the CPHR Saskatchewan 17th Annual Conference. The 2023 HR Professional Awards are proudly presented by Saskatchewan Blue Cross.

Rising Star Award Nominees

  • Megan Pellegrini, CPHR Candidate - Director of Human Resources, Cornerstone Insurance
  • Riley Stefaniuk, CPHR Candidate - Human Resources Consultant, Canadian Light Source 

The Rising Star Award recognizes and publicly honours a CPHR Saskatchewan member in the first five to seven years of their career who demonstrates great promise as a future leader in the Saskatchewan human resources community.

HR Team of the Year Nominees

  • GFL Environmental Services Inc.
  • Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority
  • Viterra

HR Team of the Year Award is granted to an HR team that plays a key role in driving the performance and reputation of an organization, are catalysts for organization-wide change, and serve as trusted advisors on organizational strategy.

Recipients of the Fellow of the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (FCPHR) designation will be announced at the awards luncheon.
