An email was sent to our CPHR Professional Members on May 22 regarding membership renewal and submitting CPD hours for 2019. If you did not receive it, please check your profile to ensure your email address is correct and to see that it did not go to spam.

As per CPHR Saskatchewan bylaws, once the CPHR designation is granted, an individual maintains the designation unless their designation is revoked due to:

  • Non-renewal and payment of membership dues
  • CPD requirements not being met
  • As a result of disciplinary action

If you have submitted the minimum of 10 CPD hours on an annual basis and a minimum of 60 CPD hours during your three-year rolling calendar, you will only be contacted if you have randomly been selected for audit and are required to provide documentation. If you do not hear from CPHR Saskatchewan, assume the minimum requirements have been met. The term “recertification” is no longer used. Once an individual achieves the designation, they are not required to recertify to maintain the designation, rather maintain requirements as noted above.

For those who received the CPHR designation in 2019 onward, you are not required to submit CPD in 2019.
