Raising RV Career Awareness at the 2022 Skills Canada National Competition in Vancouver, BC

Each year, this event draws many secondary and post-secondary students, teachers and parents to the RV Careers Try-A-Trade booth. We are eager to showcase the depth of the RV Service Technician trade and the multitude of career opportunities in the RV sector! We're pleased to have the support from CRVA, Fraserway RV, NTP-Stag Canada, Okanagan College, Roulottes ProLite, RVDA of BC and Woody's RV World.

Skills Canada National Competition 2022 will be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre on May 26 and 27, 2022. Through these competitions, Skills/Competences Canada seeks to raise awareness about skilled trade and technology sectors to youths and their influencers.

Application closes on June 1, 2022 For The NTP-Stag Canada RV Industry Personnel Bursaries

RVDA of Canada’s national Education and HR Committee is very pleased to be able to continue to offer these bursary programs to encourage continuing education and professionalization in the RV industry.

A total of $12,500 will be awarded to eligible technicians and fixed operations personnel such as service writers, service advisors, warranty administrators and parts sales employees. RV Service Technicians and Fixed Operations Personnel that have successfully completed training between August 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022 are eligible to apply for the bursaries.

These statistics will allow dealers to better manage the inventory on their lot by knowing which units are selling in their area, which price points are attracting buyers as well as knowing the local trends affecting their marketplace.
