RVIA released its Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) regulatory guide, “PFAS FAQs for the RV Industry.” The guide is for RV manufacturers, suppliers, importers and dealers to navigate PFAS laws.
In the guide, RVIA breaks down complex language into actionable insights. The association provides answers to many PFAS related questions, including what PFAS are, what the federal requirements are and state-by-state regulations. PFAS may be found in the RV industry in textiles, carpets, treatments, furnishings, flame retardants, adhesives, solar components and semiconductors. Federal and state governments are increasingly requiring reports, restrictions or bans on PFAS use.
