RVDA of Canada will be a part of the Skills Canada National Competition in Edmonton!

Are we competing in the Skills Canada National Competition?

Skills/Competences Canada (SCC) is mandated to promote skilled trade and technology career options to Canadian youth. Including the work of its Member Organizations, SCC engages more than 350,000 youth annually through interactive experiences that profile skilled trade and technology careers.

SCNC is the only national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices in the country. Every year, more than 550 students and apprentices from across Canada come to SCNC to compete in over 40 skilled trade and technology contests. Students and apprentices must compete at the regional and provincial/territorial levels before representing their province/territory at the national level.

Through these competitions, Skills/Competences Canada seeks to raise awareness about
skilled trade and technology sectors to Canadians and their influencers.

RVDA of Canada will be a part of the Skills Canada National Competition in Edmonton!

Skills/Compétences Canada (SCC) will be hosting the Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC) from June 3 to 6, 2018. Send personal invites to everyone you know to attend this event during the competition days (June 4 and 5) and try the multitude of activities available. It’ll feel like a big theme park and you really have to choose what you want to see and try because there won't be enough time!

The RV Careers booth will have an RV on display and a multitude of hands-on activities. The best part will be seeing RV techs in action! We are still looking for volunteers. If you are passionate about promoting this trade to future generations, contact Anita Lien at RVDA of Canada office at 604.718.6306.
