Stringer, a first-time speaker at the convention, will host three 60-minute workshops in the F&I educational track. His RVDA speaker page can be found on the convention website complete with video previews of all three sessions.

During Stringer’s first session at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, he will discuss the basic structure of a top performing F&I department, necessary components for success including required staffing and products, and statistics used to measure the performance of the department. The workshop titled, “F&I, Does that Stand for Fairies and Imps?...No, the Money is Real,” will equip attendees with a questionnaire to determine the current health of their dealership’s F&I department and an action plan for improvement.

Next, on Thursday, Stringer’s session, “This is Not Baseball: Three Swings and You Are Not Out in F&I,” will be at 3:15 p.m. Attendees of the educational workshop will learn about simple and consistent presentation methods to increase a dealership’s product penetrations.

For his third and final workshop Stringer will present, “Santa Clause and Extended Service Agreements: The Science of Using Stories in the F&I Office,” at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Key takeaways include the secrets of the human brain and what makes a story work, how to use the secrets of science to make F&I contracts come to life for the customers, and how to effectively create and tell stories that will increase product sales.

Visit the convention website for more information about the workshops and speakers as they are announced. The schedule-at-a-glance can be viewed here and will be updated periodically as the convention approaches.
