The reports of widening outbreaks in places like Florida and Texas have noted that it is now younger adults who are getting infected with COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus. It is only the beginning of the 2020 wildfire season and already there have been 20,351 US wildfires between January 1 and June 12. Compare this to 16,630 fires during the same period in 2019, according to the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC). Rims Resources
As many commercial insurance policies do not provide business interruption coverage for COVID-19 related shutdowns, legislatures across the country have drafted and introduced legislation compelling insurance companies to cover these losses.
