The Phil Maxwell Memorial Manly Man Fishing Tournament – Rescheduled for October 13-15

The Phil Maxwell Memorial Manly Man Fishing Tournament, a CRA fund raiser for RSIF, has been rescheduled AGAIN! Join us October 13-15, 2023, on the Kern River for some fishing and camaraderie while raising funds for RSIF! The tournament runs from Spillway to Johnsondale Bridge. A cocktail party will be held at The Kern Lodge on Saturday from 6 to 7 pm. Click on "Learn more" for all the details.

WINNING FISH: The winning fish will be announced at 10 am on Sunday.It will be the biggest fish by weight determined by the judges:  John Frantz, Ron Holbert and Paul Peterson.

RULES: Only 1 Fish per Entry
River Trout Only
No Frozen Fish!

ENTRY FEE: $50, 50% to RSIF, 50% to Prize Fund

$250 GUARANTEED PRIZE FUND: Made up of 50% of Sponsor Donations & Entry Fees.
1st Place 50% of Prize Fund
2nd Place 35% of Prize Fund
3rd Place 15% of Prize Fund

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT: Stream Pole 5’ – 6.5’, Bait – eggs, lures, flies, worms etc., Net

ACCOMMODATIONS: Limestone Campgrounds $32/Night + $10/Vehicle
