Steve Wyse, who founded Granite in 1997, along with his son Matt, have made Granite into a successful company with a wide portfolio of innovative and durable products. DSS has always been close to the Wyse family due to friendships and partnerships over the years. When the opportunity came up to discuss being acquired by a larger company, DSS was at the top of the list.

The acquisition is one where both sides truly feel that the future is brighter together. Granite will be more equipped to provide scaffolding and related components for large scale jobs in the Midwest.
