CRA recently surveyed members about their propane use, suppliers, and interest in a CRA Service Value Provider program for propane. Here are the results of the survey. 

1. Do you sell propane?
Yes: 73% (24 responses)   
No: 27% (9 responses)

2. How many gallons do you sell per year? (16 responses)

Yes: 33% (6 responses)
No: 67% (12 responses)
If Yes, what is the fee? (6 responses)
• 65.00 plus 275.00 tax on meter.

• $1.00/yr. (3 responses)
• We only charge a fee for extra tanks.

4. Who is your vendor? (18 responses)
• Suburban (6 responses)
• Amerigas (2 responses)
• Ted Johnson (4 responses)

5. What would you need to consider changing vendors? (15 responses)
• Not much.
• Better price. (2 responses)
• Ted Johnson to drop the ball.
• Good prices and service.
• Low pricing, never out of product.
• What’s the point?
• Just changed to Suburban from Amerigas.
• Possibly. (2 responses).
• If we had a very bad relationship with our vendor we might consider. But we have been satisfied for many years.

• Don’t think so.
• Ted Johnson cannot be improved upon.

6. Are you interested in a CRA Service Valued Provider for propane?
Yes: 72% (13 responses)
No: 28% (5 responses)
Additional comments: (6 responses)
• If they service Portland.
• I would like to see what you have to offer.
• Do they service Hawaii?
• We don’t want to pull permits from our city to change out our large tank.
• Maybe.
• Only if it’s Ted Johnson.

7. Additional survey comments: (2 responses)
• We have a 500 gallon tank used to fill tanks for our party rental equipment. We do not sell and fill tanks to public.
• We are very happy with Ted Johnson.
