RFMA 2019 Session Preview - Understanding Rooftop Unit Improvements and Implementation Strategies for Restaurants

Speakers: Katie Vrabel (Waypoint Energy), Michael Deru (National Renewable Energy Lab), and Scott Moline (The Wendy’s Company)
Many restaurants have rooftop units (RTUs) to provide HVAC to their facilities. But how well do facility managers know how RTUs really work? In this session, technical experts from the Department of Energy’s Advanced RTU Campaign provide info on advanced RTU replacements, retrofits, and the newest trend in RTU efficiency, AFDD and intelligent controls. Audience members will play “RTU Pictionary” to test their current knowledge and learn about RTU equipment, and will also learn about strategies and savings from The Wendy's Company's RTU efforts.

When: Monday, February 11th from 2:00PM – 3:00PM
