RFMA 2018 Preview: Fires Don’t Discriminate: Prevention Methods for Every Restaurant Facility with Rebecca Sansone, Jon Ahrendt, and Britt Roarx

In this session, attendees will hear from a fire marshal, facility manager and BOH expert on the importance of hood and stack cleaning, key ignition sources, and safety and cleaning guidelines in order to mitigate fire risk. Then, participants will be put into groups for a “BOH fire drill” tailored around their specific dining industry. Participants will leave with an “Action Plan for Fire Prevention” packed with tips to keep their facility up and running.
