The APCO Institute offers an online Radio Technician Certification exam for emergency communications center (ECC) professionals. The exam, which is designed for working technicians, covers FCC regulations, basic electronics, public safety communication challenges and troubleshooting skills for ECC environments. The certification is valid for five years. The exam is available monthly, with July registration now open. The cost for the exam is $79 for APCO members and $99 for non-members. Learn more
