Christy Elson, Agency Course Coordinator
Christy Elson recently joined the APCO Institute staff bringing with her 10 years of experience in the training and publications field. She currently works as one of the Agency Course Coordinators.

In this capacity, Christy provides support to APCO agency instructors by processing courses, distributing CDE certificates, assisting instructors with resources and processing agency book orders. She is excited about her new role and proud to play a part in the education and training of public safety communications professionals.

When she is not working, Christy enjoys long walks, bike riding and caring for her furry family of five.

The Onondaga County (N.Y.) Department of Emergency Communications Supervisor of Dispatch Operations Keith Ducett, Jr. was presented with the "Individual Contribution to the Profession Award" at the biennial NYS GIS Association Conference called NYGeoCon 2017.
 
Establishment of a consolidated emergency communications system for Onondaga County reflects a long-standing interest in improving the ability of public safety resources to respond to calls for emergency assistance.
 
Northern Kentucky Tribune Marci McNay, assistant director of the Campbell County Consolidated Dispatch Center, was named Supervisor of the Year by the Kentucky Chapter of the APCO.
 
City of Rochester, N.Y. - Mayor's Office The Rochester Mayor's Office congratulates 9-1-1 dispatcher Anita Danzy, who won the APCO Atlantic Chapter Trainer of the Year Award.
