APCO News

APCO recently partnered with the DHS Office for State and Local Law Enforcement (OSLLE), Federal Bureau of Investigation, Federal Protective Service, International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts, Major County Sheriffs of America and National Sheriffs' Association in the production of a new video overview on swatting for public safety telecommunicators.

This video provides swatting indicators, de-escalation strategies and helpful practices to public safety telecommunicators who may receive swatting calls directly to 9-1-1 or calls routed through non-emergency lines.
