China’s Luoyang Jieda Paper has ordered a new 16,000-mtpy tissue machine for its sole mill in Yanshi city, Henan province. Domestic supplier Baotuo Paper Machinery has been signed up to provide the unit, which is expected to start operations in 2021. The machine will feature a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,300 m/min. An identical TM was commissioned at the same site at the beginning of April.
