Mika Joukio, head of M-real Corp.’s (Finland) Consumer Packaging Business Area and a member of M-real’s Management Team, has been appointed the new CEO of Metsä Tissue Corp. of Finland. Joukio will report to Kari Jordan, president and CEO of Metsäliitto Group and chairman of the Metsä Tissue Board of Directors. Joukio will assume his new position as CEO and as a member of the Metsäliitto Group Executive Management Team in February 2012.
Hannu Kottonen, CEO of Metsä Tissue since 2006 and a member of the Metsäliitto Group Executive Management Team, has been appointed CEO of HKScan Corp., a leading food company in Northern Europe. He will start in his new position by the end of February.
