EkO Peroxide to Raise Peroxide Prices in North America

EkO Peroxide, Columbus, Miss., USA, reports that it will raise prices on hydrogen peroxide in North America by $0.035/lb on bulk shipments and by $0.045/lb on semi-bulk shipments, effective immediately or as contracts permit. The company attributes the price increase to steadily increasing input costs.

Formed in November 2006, EkO Peroxide is a joint venture between Eka Chemicals, Marietta, Ga., and OCI Chemical Corp, Seoul, South Korea. EkO Peroxide operates a 70,000 ton hydrogen peroxide facility and distributes product throughout North America.
