Employees at SCA’s Neenah, Wis., USA, converting facility recently collected nearly 265 lb of personal care items, such as toothpaste, deodorant, and laundry detergent, for the 19th annual Help for the Homeless campaign. WEMI-91.9FM and WEMY-91.5FM radio stations sorted and distributed the items among the 45 homeless shelters and crisis agencies throughout the Fox Valley, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, and Brown County.

"It’s amazing how many people in our area are in need of basic supplies," said Bonnie Timm, a production worker at SCA’s Neenah converting facility who helped organize the collection. "We’ve collected items for Help for the Homeless for the past two years, and the employees here are very generous, knowing that all of the items are going to help people right here in the Fox Cities." SCA has nearly 920 employees in the Fox Cities, including more than 760 between its Menasha mill and Neenah converting facility and more than 150 at its Service Excellence Center in the Town of Menasha. In addition to Wisconsin, SCA’s North American tissue division, which is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa., has manufacturing facilities in Alabama, Arizona, and New York, and employs more than 2,000 in the U.S. and Canada.
