APP Orders Three New Tissue Machines for Installation in China

Asia Pulp & Paper Co., (APP), Jakarta, Indonesia, reportedly has signed a deal with Voith Paper, Germany, for three tissue machines to be installed at APP mills in China. The new tissue machines are 5.620 meters wide and have a maximum speed of 2,400 m/min. Planned startup for one of the machines is in about a year, according to APP, followed by startup of the other two machines several months later.
