TAPPI’s Tissue Division Hosts Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee 2024 Spring Meeting

TAPPI’s Tissue Division will host the Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee (YDSRC) Spring Meeting on May 1 - 2, 2024 at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. This two-day event offers industry professionals a valuable opportunity to delve into in-depth discussions regarding the latest safe and reliable operating and maintenance practices for Yankee Dryers. Attendees will gain insight on how to enhance operational efficiency and safety within the industry.

Schedule and Sessions Subcommittee meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm ET and focus on specific areas of interest and expertise within the Yankee Dryer domain. These subcommittee sessions allow participants to dive deep into specialized topics and share valuable insights and experiences.

The YDSRC Business Meeting takes place on Thursday, May 2, from 8 am to 5 pm ET. This session will cover a wide range of topics related to Yankee Dryer safety, reliability, maintenance strategies, emerging trends, and industry standards.

Registration Attendance for the YDSRC 2024 Spring Meeting is free and open to everyone interested in Yankee Dryer safety and reliability practices. However, registration is required to participate in the event. The YDSRC meeting is held in conjunction with TAPPICon 2024 and registration can be conveniently completed through the TAPPICon registration site. This offers participants the flexibility to register for both TAPPICon and the YDSRC meeting or solely for the YDRSC meeting.

For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option will be available via Microsoft Teams for the YDSRC Business Meeting. This virtual participation option ensures that industry professionals can still benefit from the valuable discussions and insights shared during the meeting. Tissue Division and Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee TAPPI’s Tissue Division consists of hundreds of technical professionals who work in the manufacture and converting of tissue products around the world. The Division's goal is to create a more knowledgeable tissue workforce in all markets through education, exchange of peer-reviewed, noncommercial technical information and networking.
