Cartiere Carrara Obtains Euro 15 Million Loan to Support Liquidity and Investments

Italian tissue producer Cartiere Carrara will receive Euro 15 million ($17 million) in financing from UniCredit. The loan has been obtained via the national program Garanzia Italia, launched by the government to support Italian firms’ liquidity. According to the bank, the financing, which will last six years, will be used by the company to manage its increasing liquidity needs and to back its investments in Italy. Cartiere Carrara recently started the rebuild of tissue machine, PM 3, at its Pratovecchio mill.
